Your First Visit

During an intake appointment, you will be requested to fill out paperwork that is required to enrol you as a Nokee Kwe client. An intake takes approximately 45 minutes and will include the development of an action plan to support your job search or education upgrading. Please arrive early for your appointment to complete the necessary paperwork.

To make this process more efficient, please bring the following information with you:

  • Social Insurance Number
  • A current resume in electronic or paper form
  • Documents that verify your current source of income. For example Employment Insurance My Current Claim or Ontario Works check stub
  • Legal identification

After you complete the paperwork, you will meet with a member of our team to discuss your:

  • Employment and/or education history
  • Job search skills
  • Employment skills
  • Short term and long term goals related to employment and/or education
  • Needs related to skills or training upgrading
  • Assistance identify barriers to employment and/or education

Please be aware that you can only be registered with one Employment Ontario agency at one time. If you are enrolled with another agency, you will need to request that your file be closed. Please speak to a member of our team to complete this process.
