National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
On the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Nokee Kwe is pausing to honor the resilience of Indigenous Peoples and the land on which we live and work. Nokee Kwe does more than just acknowledge history; we are committed to reconciliation in our actions, advocating for Indigenous self-determination, and building pathways for a future shaped by respect and equity. Reconciliation is not a single day, but an ongoing journey. As September 30th approaches, we reflect on the impact of residential schools and wear orange shirts to honor survivors and those who didn’t return. Together, we work for a more inclusive, compassionate future.
