Nokee Kwe is looking for Event Committee Volunteers (6)

POSITION SUMMARY: Volunteer will assist in the planning and execution of community events for the purpose of awareness for the agency’s free programs and services
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Attend regularly scheduled meetings
Help establish event goals
Provide recommendations for achieving event goals
Participate in the planning of the event
Participate in specific planning activities to achieve the overall event goal
Represent the event in the media in a positive manner if requested
Maintain event data/statistics
Provide feedback and evaluation at the end of the event
PERSONAL QUALITIES: Volunteer should exhibit characteristics of organization, attention to detail, enthusiasm, good communication skills, and a desire to help. Experience in event planning and fundraising are an asset.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:·
Minimum age of 18
Willing to: Participate in Nokee Kwe’s volunteer on-boarding
Provide 1 reference
REPORTS TO: Programs Director
TIME COMMITMENT:
Online and in-person (if working at Nokee Kwe) orientation
Regularly scheduled meetings as they pertain to event participation
Time to complete assignments/tasks that arise from the meetings
Minimum time commitment 1 hour/week- maximum time commitment is open
Event day – agreed upon schedule
